The Danube Cycle Path, one of the most popular and impressive cycling routes in Europe, takes you along one of the continent's majestic rivers. This spectacular route stretches approximately 2,850 kilometers from the source of the Danube in the Black Forest to its mouth in the Black Sea.
Your adventure begins, for example, in the picturesque town of Donaueschingen, where the Danube springs. From there, you cycle through the idyllic Danube Valley, past green forests, gentle hills, and historic towns. The German section of the cycle path takes you through fascinating places like Ulm with the highest church tower in the world and the UNESCO World Heritage city of Regensburg with its medieval old town.
