The Heidelberg-Schwarzwald-Bodensee Cycle Path, an impressive route through some of the most picturesque landscapes in southern Germany, offers you an unforgettable cycling experience. Covering a distance of around 285 kilometers, you connect three of Germany's most popular regions: the romantic Heidelberg, the mystical Black Forest, and the scenic Lake Constance.

Your journey begins in the historic city of Heidelberg, famous for its castle, the old bridge, and the charming old town. From the Neckar Valley, the cycle path leads you into the northern Black Forest, where you ride through dense forests, past clear streams, and over gentle hills. This stage is characterized by the tranquility and beauty of nature, as well as the rich culture and history of the region.

As you continue along the cycle path, you will experience the diversity of the Black Forest. You will pass through charming villages and towns, including the well-known spa towns of Baden-Baden and Freudenstadt. Here, you can admire the traditional architecture of the Black Forest and enjoy the local cuisine and hospitality.

After leaving the Black Forest behind, the cycle path takes you into the hilly landscape of the upper Danube Valley and finally to the picturesque Lake Constance. The lake, surrounded by stunning Alpine panoramas, provides you with a breathtaking backdrop for the final section of your tour. At Lake Constance, you can explore the historic towns of Constance, Meersburg, and Lindau and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere by the lakeside.
