This route stretches over approximately 510 kilometers and takes you from Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva to Rorschach on Lake Constance, passing some of the most beautiful lakes and through the breathtaking panoramas of the Swiss Alps.

Your adventure begins in Montreux, known for its mild climate and the famous Jazz Festival. From here, you cycle along Lake Geneva with its spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Next, you head to the medieval town of Gruyères, which is not only famous for its cheese but also offers a charming old town.

The route continues through the picturesque Simmental, where traditional Swiss farmhouses shape the landscape. You then reach Lake Thun and later Lake Brienz, where you have the opportunity to enjoy nature on peaceful paths right by the shore.

One of the highlights of the tour is the passage through the Bernese Oberland, where you can admire the majestic peaks of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The journey continues through Central Switzerland, past Lake Lucerne and the idyllic Lake Sarnen.

The final section of the Lake Route brings you to Lake Zug and finally to Lake Constance, one of the largest lakes in Central Europe. In Rorschach, on the eastern shore of the lake, you can conclude your adventurous tour.

The Lake Route is a journey through the heart of the Swiss lake landscape, offering both relaxing and challenging sections for cyclists of all levels.
