The Spree Cycle Path, a fascinating tour through the diverse landscapes of Brandenburg and Berlin, takes you along the charming Spree River. Over a distance of about 400 kilometers, you will follow the river from its source in Upper Lusatia to its confluence with the Havel in Berlin.
Your adventure begins in the picturesque Upper Lusatia, near the Czech border, where the Spree originates. The cycle path leads you through tranquil forests and over gentle hills, past small villages and through historic towns like Bautzen and Cottbus. In this region, you can experience the unique culture and language of the Sorbs, a Slavic minority in Germany.
